The safest way to plan a Big Ambitions business is to split requirements into four checklists: location, equipment, stock and people. The Steam description confirms that opening a business involves renting a building, renovating it, getting stock and hiring staff. Exact item names, quantities and costs should be recorded from the current save rather than copied from an Early Access guide.

How to use the database

Open the store equipment guide while planning the location. If the business depends on regular deliveries, read the warehouse guide before taking on more storefronts. If cash is tight, return to the best starting business guide and compare the full setup cost rather than only the purchase price.

The database will become more specific as each business is tested in version 1.0. Until then, a blank value is intentional: it means the site does not yet have a reproducible test, not that the requirement is zero.
